Q: Where and when can I pick up my badge? When can I purchase one?

A: To pick up or purchase a badge, you can go to the registration booth, found inside the convention center, in the lobby!
Registration Hours are as follows:
8/16 Thursday 5pm to 10pm
8/17 Friday 10am to 8pm
8/18 Saturday 9am to 8pm
8/19 Sunday 9am to 3pm

Q: Is this the old Anime California?

A: This Anime California is operated by a different team. This Anime California is not affiliated with the previous Anime California or its company, which has suspended operations. This Anime California is not responsible for damages or liabilities associated with the previous Anime California and its previous operators.

Q: Where will the convention be held?

A: Anime California 2018 will be held at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airpot Hotel and Convention Center located at 2500 N Hollywood Way, Burbank, CA 91505

Q: How much are badges?

A: Badges are currently $35 dollars, but prices will increase from now until the day of the convention as follows:

  • $35 – until May 29th
  • $40 – May 31st- June 15th
  • $45 – June 16th – July 15th
  • $50 – July 16th – August 16th
  • $55 – At the door

Q: When will I receive my badge?

A: Badges will be picked up on Day 1 of the convention at registration. Please bring a photo ID.

Q: What does my badge get me?

A: Badges get you access to everything from events, panels, workshops, activities and the convention center. Badges do NOT grant you an Artist Alley table, Exhibit Hall space, or Swap Meet space, those are purchased separately.

Q: Is there a special price for kids?

A: Admittance is free for children 10 and under, provided they come with a parent or guardian that has a purchased an adult priced badge. **Max two free children’s badges per accompanying adult.

Q: How do I pick up the kids badge?

A: You can pick up your kids badge at the same time you pick up the accompanying adult’s badge. Please make sure to bring the child(ren) with you to get their badges.

Q: What does the kids badge allow access to?

A: Kids badges allows access to everything a regular adult badge does, including Artist’s Alley, Exhibit Hall, Karaoke, panels and more. The only thing it does not allow access to is any event or panel that is marked as 18+. If you’re not sure if the panel or event is right for your kids, make sure to consult the convention catalog, as well as any signage near the event or panel, or ask a convention volunteer, who’ll be happy to help!

Q: Can I get a refund on my badge after I purchase?

A: You may request a refund on badges up to 30 days after purchase or up to 30 days before the event, whichever comes first. To request a refund, simply email reg@animecaliforniacon.com

Q: Can I bring my pet to Anime California? What about a Service Animal?

A: Anime California is a diverse and welcoming convention, and we want to make sure everyone can enjoy the convention, including anyone who might need to bring a service animal. Per the venue rules, pets under 25 pounds and service animals are allowed in the hotel, including staying the night in your hotel room (with an added fee). However, in the convention center, only registered service animals are allowed by the venue. We only ask that you make sure your service animal is properly trained to be around crowds and/or on a leash, to help ensure a safe and happy convention for all.
